Surfing the Wave…Googles Wave
Well after a couple months of waiting, I finally got an invite to the Google Wave preview. Its quite an interesting concept and could be quite useful.
Heres a little info from Google:
What is a wave?
A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.
A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.
If you go to the Google Wave Website you can watch a rather long video demonstrating the software and different use cases. Basically it is a collaboration tool, whether it be for business or just personal needs. This could be quite a valuable tool to your workflow.
I have 8 Invitations to give away so if you are looking for an invite, send your thoughts on collaboration techniques to info@triversedesigns.com
